Ekonoke is on a mission to save the world’s beer! That may sound like a tall order, but we have combined the most advanced knowledge together with solid technology to be able to guarantee that brewers all over the world will have the hops they need to brew the beer we love.
To do that, we need to grow our team of plant experts with a Lab-Technicianthat can join us in our Indoor Hops Research Center in Tres Cantos (Madrid).

If you have:
– An FP-II in agricultural engineering, biology, biotechnology or other training related to crop production
– 1-2 years of professional experience related to plant physiology, horticulture and agricultural operations and technology, ideally with direct research experience
– A personal drive to have a positive impact on the world we live in, actively contributing to generating new knowledge and innovation to fight climate change
– A good enough level of English to be comfortable working with non-Spanish speakers (at least B2)
– Other valuable skills, such as being proactive, dynamic, well organized and responsible, capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team and flexible to travel to our other production facilities
and are able to carry out occasional odd maintenance jobs… you may be just the person we are looking for!
(Bonus track: experience in indoor farming, hydroponics, artificial lighting, HVAC systems, crop protection, phytopathology, pre- and postharvest physiology and mechanization, coding, systems biology, bioinformatics, biomathematics, hyperspectral image analysis)
