Position Brand Description:
As a Scientist – QC Microbiology at Lilly, you will utilize your expertise in Microbiology to execute specialized tasks, lead projects, provide troubleshooting support, and suggest process enhancements. With a focus on maintaining compliance and quality, you will play a crucial role in conducting various microbiological analyses and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Objectives/Deliverables:
Manage for Results/Strategic Planning:
Key responsibilities include routine QC Microbiology tasks, material qualifications, microbial and fungal identification, special projects participation, document creation and review, excursion investigations, training, and ensuring laboratory equipment compliance. The shift for this position is Tuesday to Saturday.
Basic Requirements:
- BS or MS in a related science field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry)
Additional Preferences:
- Proficiency in cGMP regulations
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and independent problem-solving abilities
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications and data storage systems
Other Information:
- No travel required
- No lifting involved
- On-call duty may be necessary
- Shift work may be applicable
