Job Title: LABORATORY & INCOMING MATERIALS CONTROL MANAGER
Job Location: North Canton, OH
Eligibility Criteria:
- Degree in Microbiology, Food Science or related field
- Experience 4-7 years
- Good team working skills and flexibility
- Knowledge of raw materials and packaging materials in the food industry
- Knowledge of Food Safety programs and GMP’s
- Knowledge of GLP’s and lab safety
- Knowledge of FDA
- Knowledge of FSSC 22000
About the Role:
The Lab Incoming Manager is responsible for laboratory management and incoming control. They will ensure quality assurance on incoming raw materials and packaging in accordance to group guidelines, in order to avoid any quality-related issues that could emerge once the goods are used on the production line. They will also ensure the right execution of microbiological, chemical, physical, and Tasting analysis for raw material, packaging materials, and semi-finished and finished goods, in order to guarantee the technical quality and the marketability of Ferrero products.

Main Responsibilities:
- Assures effective management of laboratories within the plant.
- Assures that relation between Production, Ferrero Quality Department and Plant Quality
- Assurance is finalized to laboratory analysis execution
- Executes sampling based on SAP sampling plans, according to safety and accident prevention regulations
- Analyzes following the group plans of inbound raw material, semi-finished and finished goods, providing warnings on anomalies, if necessary.
Supervises the technician’s activities’ effectiveness; ensures the coverage of sampling and inspection activities. - Assures the execution of appropriate laboratory analysis by taking into consideration materials and products to be analyzed.
- Supervises data analysis and interpretation, guaranteeing a proper result finding activity and related IT data entry.
