Associate Scientist Job Description
The Associate Scientist will perform high-throughput screening experiments involving therapeutic targets to support drug discovery. Laboratory work includes biochemical assay execution, reagent preparation, and support for the Screening Group and other teams when required.
The role involves using automated liquid handling equipment, following established procedures, and delivering accurate work within client timelines.
Freshers Biology Job – Key Responsibilities
- Execute 384-well microplate biochemical assays measuring interactions between small molecules and target proteins.
- Operate liquid handling equipment, including ECHO, plate washers, V-preps, BRAVO, and WELLJET.
- Prepare reagents, perform reagent quality checks, and complete chemistry-related calculations.
- Maintain laboratory consumables.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and site Environmental Health and Safety requirements.
- Participate in laboratory group meetings and present findings.
- Support cross-functional teams and complete assigned laboratory activities.
- Deliver work according to client needs and timelines, adjusting working hours when necessary.
Educational Requirements and Eligibility For Freshers Biology Job
- Qualification: B.S. degree in Biological Sciences.
- Experience: Zero–two years of relevant industry experience in a laboratory setting.
- Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely, without restrictions or sponsorship.
