Bio-Rad Research Associate Job Description
Bio-Rad is searching for a Research Associate I to support the R&D New Product Development group. The position requires a working knowledge of laboratory experimentation, general chemistry, and clinical chemistry. In this Bio-Rad Research Associate I position, the individual will work under the guidance of scientists to support new product development activities, prepare experimental pilots, operate standard laboratory equipment, compile and evaluate data, and collaborate with R&D and other team members.
Freshers Research Job – Key Responsibilities
- Supports product development activities by executing routine testing, compiling and analyzing data, and maintaining specific R&D laboratory instrumentation.
- Develops simple product formulations and modifications, and participates in root cause investigations to achieve desired product performance while maintaining compliance with design control and CAPA requirements.
- Designs and executes stability studies appropriate to project scope, generating and evaluating data that supports product performance.
- Serves as a technical resource for assigned products, partnering with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Marketing, RA/QA, QC, and R&D to address cross-functional needs, essential for Freshers Research Job.
- Communicates effectively through clear, well-organized written protocols and reports, and by actively presenting study results to R&D and cross-functional stakeholders.
Bio-Rad Research Associate Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in biology, or related life science field.
- 0-2 years of laboratory research experience with hands-on exposure to basic experimental techniques.
- Working knowledge of scientific principles and experimental design and ability to follow established protocols with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform scientific experiments with guidance, and manage and complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Proficiency with standard lab equipment and basic data analysis tools, such as Excel.

Compensation
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,310 – $77,400 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, based on several factors including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job-related factors. This position is also eligible for a variable annual bonus, dependent upon achievement of individual objectives and company performance.
