Position Summary
Genentech is seeking a Scientist 2 for Biochemical and Cellular Pharmacology in South San Francisco, California. This role involves designing, implementing, and executing cell-based binding assays to support therapeutic antibody discovery projects.
Job Responsibilities
- Design and execute cell-based binding assays
- Analyze and interpret data
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Plan and adapt experiments efficiently
- Contribute to internal and external presentations
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in pharmacology, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field
- 2+ years of relevant drug discovery experience
- Experience with mammalian cell culture
- Proficiency in English
- Detail-oriented and critical thinker
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cell-based binding methods
- Proficiency with GraphPad Prism
