Eligibility Criteria: 

• Minimum 2-year degree; prefer 4-year post-secondary education with an emphasis in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering, Environmental, Quality Assurance or related technical discipline
• Proven dependability in past jobs
• Good computer skills, including the ability to use software for data analysis, word processing and presentation
• Must be able to work in an environment with free-roaming pets
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
• Willingness to learn new tasks and take on additional accountability to support the Food Safety and Quality (FSQ) function
• Basic understanding of food safety and human safety
• Ability to lift 15-30 lbs

PREFERRED SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND EXPERIENCE

• Strong aptitude for technology; highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Proven work record of attendance and performance
• Project Management experience

Position review 

Will be responsible for Invoicing and P.O. assignments (30%), Supporting Pet FSQ Programs (50%), and supporting Employee Engagement Programs (20%)

Responsibilties:

• Manage Invoicing and PO assignment
• Provide support for the Quality Hold program, especially with R&DV tests and start-ups
• within our external supply chain (ESC) network
• Support Warehouse return load inspection program
• Support employee engagement activities
• Manage APHIS certificate reminders for ESC partners
• Maintain customer returns library
• Manage CAR follow-up and system close-out activities for ESC partners
• Support Document review and annual approval process
• Participate in cross-functional teams
• Participate in product cuttings
