What You Will Achieve
We are seeking a highly motivated laboratory scientist to join Pfizer Global Research and Development laboratories based in Groton, CT. The Scientist position is in the Genetic Toxicology department within Global Discovery Investigative and Translational Sciences.
How You Will Achieve It
- Automation expertise
- Attention to detail and conduct of established protocols using aseptic techniques
- Generating high quality data in a timely manner, reviewing and uploading data into databases and data QC
- Close collaborations and effective communication with peers and leaders
Qualifications
Must-Have:
- B.S degree with at least 5 years / M.S degree with at least 3 years’ experience working in a biology laboratory
- Mastery of automation, cell culture, and molecular techniques
- Responds well to scientific challenges and applies significant rigor to their own work
Nice-to-Have:
- Experts in automation protocol development and troubleshooting
- Experience in next-generation sequencing (sequencing library preparation and data analysis)
- Experience in high-throughput assays
