Job Summary
The Lab Coordinator role at Genezen involves managing the laboratories, systems, and processes of the Analytical, Upstream, and Downstream teams in the Process Development Department. The candidate will utilize their knowledge of biological assays and process methods to coordinate essential activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Schedule routine and ad hoc activities for the analytical testing team
- Manage assay turn-around and reporting
- Track critical reagents and manage inventory
- Coordinate maintenance and calibration of equipment
- Responsible for logbooks and log sheets
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders on new equipment
- Participate in a culture of lab safety and compliance
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Associate or B.S. degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field
- 1+ years of relevant industry experience in R&D, product development, or operations
- Excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Project Management Skills
- Ownership of laboratories
- Strong communication skills
