Your Tasks and Responsibilities
- Technical, hands-on role that coordinates research experiments under provided guidance
- Develop and optimize plant biology solutions and innovations for genome editing
- Work collaboratively within a functional team with high quality and attention to detail
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out discovery research independently or in partnership with scientists
- Execute research experiments and plans as designed
- Collect and generate high-quality research data
- Organize and record experiment notes and best practice documents
- Summarize and report research outcomes
- Maintain equipment and provide training on standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with scientists to set experimental priorities and troubleshoot research procedures
Who You Are
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to execute lab analysis in a high-throughput setting
- Broad understanding of instrumentation and scientific principles
- Ability to problem-solve and optimize research procedures
- Knowledge of specialized laboratory and scientific techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- M.S with 1+ years relevant experience; OR B.S with 4+ years relevant experience; OR High School diploma or GED with 12+ years relevant experience
