Job Posting: Molecular Biology and Bacteriology Intern
Site Name: Italy – Siena
Education Required:
Qualification in the cellular and molecular biology field with a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Chemistry or BSc/engineering. Preferably having some laboratory experience and knowledge of bacterial and cell line manipulation, as well as basic immunological techniques.
Skills and Requirements:
- A good knowledge of bacteriology and molecular biology is required.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate complex scientific data and ensure timely information sharing.
- Comfortable conversing with opinion leaders about technical information.
- Fluency in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Ability to thrive in an intense work environment and work collaboratively in a team.

What Will You Do?

- You will contribute to various projects, participate in the design of scientific research experiments, and be responsible for understanding, interpreting, and communicating complex scientific data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the design of scientific research experiments under the guidance of a scientific tutor.
- Work closely under the direction of scientific staff to implement scientific experiments, collect data, and interpret results.
- Utilize scientific knowledge and experience to influence technical decisions.
- Implement the highest ethical standards, good scientific practices, and data integrity in daily scientific activities.
- Participate in writing internal/external reports and scientific documents in support of projects.
- Communicate effectively with managers, senior scientific staff, and members from other functions to ensure project progress.
