Eligibility Criteria:
• 5+ years of TIJ experience (e.g. printhead architecture, WS, SIE, or product engineering)
• Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and implement solutions
• Track record of partnership across organizational boundaries
• Cross-functional leadership experience
• Excellent presentation skills and the ability to communicate both to senior management and technical leads
• Basic understanding of all elements of the print system
• Experience with product introduction and ramp
• Experience throughout the product life cycle
Desired Qualifications:

Position Overview:
The candidate will lead Printhead architecture, writing system, and system integration activities for the Specialty Print Systems R&D LSDS team. This person will also integrate technology capabilities with the Life Science market needs to grow the business in the short and long term. The candidate will work as an integral team member within the co-located product and business development team and will be a key member of the R&D team. This Expert-level engineer will be responsible for the work of other multi-disciplinary engineers to expand current product application space, develop new products for adjacent and new markets, and to solve customer problems. This position will provide the opportunity for externally focused work with partners and end-user customers.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical guidance to the SPS Life Science Dispense engineering team, including technical program management
• Partner with others to set product roadmap and drive solution integration into business plans
• Deliver customer-focused innovation targeting LSDS growth markets, including direct work with partners and end-user customers to validate new applications
• Partner with Marketing and Sales to align technical solutions with business opportunities and customer pain points
• Partner with NPI and Operations teams to ensure timely product introduction and ramp
• Mentor engineering team in technical problem solving
• Evaluate funnel opportunities for technical feasibility and lead initial assessments
• Identify critical technical issues and potential concerns. Validate issues per target market use cases
