Job Title: R&D Intern

Job Summary:
The R&D Intern will be responsible for the completion of assigned project work related to product development initiatives to develop and introduce new products, improve product quality, productivity, and or capacity in operations. This will include various day to day R&D projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Provides technical or scientific direction through research on assigned
- Exhibits innovation in discovery, advancement, and evaluation of new technologies in the area food process/research
- Provide innovative and timely cost-effective improvements, concepts, developments, or scientific insight and understanding with respect to new or existing products or
- Maintains a professional record of the work
Schedules equipment and orders ingredients to ensure adequate raw materials, resources, and timing for lab and/or pilot plant - Assists in the executions of food production in the lab, pilot plant, and/or manufacturing
