Research Assistant Intern (20 weeks)
The Research Assistant Intern will undergo a 20-week program from 9 Sep 2024 to 26 Jan 2025. Selected candidates will have an opportunity to interview with Illumina’s Research & Development Team.
Project Description
As an intern within Illumina’s Research and Development team, you will work on creating new sequencing methods as part of a global research team. You will be under the guidance of the Lab Supervisor and assist in various laboratory activities.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, set-up, conduct, and record experiment results
- Analyze data using basic statistics
- Provide solutions to research-related problems
- Assist in laboratory maintenance
- Learn, have fun, and contribute to impactful projects!
Qualifications and Requirements
- Open to current Diploma students in scientific disciplines such as Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biotechnology
- Organized with excellent laboratory skills
- Meticulous, attentive to details
- Effective communication skills
- Analytical, efficient, adaptable, and a team player
- Positive, self-driven with a “can do” attitude
