India Science & Research Fellowship 2022-2023 – Apply Now

INDIA SCIENCE AND RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP (2022-2023) (Opens on 01 September 2022)
(for Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand)

Applications are invited from researchers who are actively involved in research activities and holding permanent positions in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Myanmar,
Nepal, Sri Lanka and Thailand to visit India under the India Science and Research
Fellowship (ISRF) Programme to pursue research in frontier/ advanced areas of science
including Medicine and Agriculture for a period of 3 – 6 months. The programme is funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), New Delhi.

The detailed Brochure (enclosed) may be strictly followed for applying for the ISRF
Fellowship in the prescribed format (attached) which can be downloaded from the website
(www.dst.gov.in/ www.insaindia.res.in). The completed applications, along with relevant
enclosures and duly endorsed by the Head of the Institution may be submitted to the partnering agency with a copy to DST/INSA.

LIST OF DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED Along with application:

The prescribed application form for applying to ISRF Scheme can be downloaded from
the INSA website (www.insaindia.res.in), DST website (www.dst.gov.in). The filled
application form should be forwarded by an appropriate authority at the Home Institution
with the following mandatory documents

A) A brief write-up describing the proposed research work

B) Copy of degree certificate for highest qualification

C) Reprints of two recent publications in refereed journals

D) Copy of valid passport showing the passport number, photograph, date
of birth, date of issue, date of expiry and the residential address

E) A No Objection Certificate (NOC) (format enclosed with the application
form) from the Home Institution on Institute letter head. (format in pg. 6)

F) Letter of Acceptance from the Indian host supervisor in Institute letterhead for
carrying out applicant’s research work in India. Wherever necessary CICS
can assist the researcher in identifying a host institution.

G) Two passport size photographs

H) A latest updated CV
