Job Title: Intern- Associate Scientist
Job Description:
At our company, we are seeking a Research Intern to work closely with an assigned scientific supervisor on a lab-based research project in the area of biomedical research. As an intern within our research laboratories, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented scientists, learn from industry experts, and contribute to finding solutions to challenging problems in biomedical research.
Job Purpose:
The Research Intern will be involved in lab-based research in the biomedical field.
Qualifications:
- Enrollment in an Undergraduate or Master’s program in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or related disciplines
Experience and Skills:
- Working knowledge of laboratory-based methodologies such as molecular biology, cell culture, imaging, mass spectrometry, etc.
- Hands-on laboratory experience preferred
Personal Attributes:
- Strong interest in a research-intensive environment
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Positive, proactive, can-do attitude
- Keen to learn and a good team player
- Strong problem-solving skills
Availability:
Minimum 6 months full-time preferred
