Position Title: TDS AD Biochemistry – Associate Scientist
Department: Therapeutics Development & Supply, Analytical Development (TDS)
Location: Ringaskiddy, Cork
Working mode: On-site
Duration: 12 months (with opportunity for contract extension)
Working hours: 2-cycle shifts or office hours
Pay rate range: Competitive hourly rate (including shift allowance)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to EHS standards and appropriate PPE
- Maintain Lab cleanliness standards in line with Lab 6S Program
- Complete required training in a timely manner
- Perform analytical testing using various techniques
- Review, interpret, and trend analytical data
- Contribute to equipment calibration and maintenance
- Stay updated on SOP’s and official documentation
- Write/revise SOP’s and reports as needed
- Participate in Laboratory investigations and escalate issues as required
- Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives
Requirements:
- BSc, MSc, or PhD in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related field
- Customer-focused and result-driven
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team and provide leadership
