Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science or Engineering with at least 4 years of experience OR a Master’s degree in Biological Science or Engineering with at least 2 years of experience
- Experience in the following areas is preferred: cell culture process development, downstream processing steps, and analytical assays
- You are capable of managing multiple projects with some supervision
- You have maintained written records of work in the form of notebooks, technical reports, and protocols
- You have good written and verbal communication skills
- Data reporting, the ability to present findings to management with a handle on the bigger picture, and experience with team-based collaborations is a requirement
- Occasional weekend work may be required
In This Role, You Will:
- Participate in the design of experiments, execute the planned experiments, and optimize the process steps to develop efficient and robust manufacturing processes for the production of gene therapies.
- Design and execute development studies to identify and determine ranges of critical process parameters for viral vector production.
- Record and analyze experimental data, verify data integrity and accuracy, and report/summarize findings to the project team. Author technical documents and perform technology transfer to collaboration partners.
- Work in a team environment as well as contributing individually to meet project timeline and objectives
- Other duties will be assigned, as necessary.
- Based in Malvern, PA, this job may require up to 10% of domestic and international travel.
