Job Description:
Role: Scientist Research & Development Microbiology – New Product Development
Location: Summit, NJ, USA
Reports to: Associate Director, R&D Microbiology
Position Description:
Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Scientist Research & Development Microbiology to join our team. This position will be based in Summit, NJ, reporting to the Associate Director of R&D Microbiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance on product preservation during new product development
- Perform new product microbiological robustness assessments
- Develop and validate microbiological testing methods
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product safety and efficacy
- Stay updated with industry trends and scientific advancements in microbiology
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related scientific field, Master’s a plus
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D Microbiology for regulated consumer products
- Ability to collaborate effectively and think critically in a dynamic R&D environment
- Basic computer skills and fluency in English
