Qualifications
- Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree (or 2+ years of coursework) in a Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biology, or Life Science field.
- Sterile technique and strong pipetting skills.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- GLP experience (preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and flexibility.
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling biological specimens.
- Knowledge of molecular and cellular biology techniques.
- Familiarity with PCR analysis.
- Experience supporting flow cytometry workflows.
- Strong laboratory documentation skills.
- Adaptability in a changing research environment.
Lab Technician Job – Key Responsibilities
- Process and extract biological samples including blood, urine, plasma, and feces using manual and automated methods.
- Prepare laboratory solutions and reagents.
- Record and document laboratory test data in notebooks and electronic systems.
- Support PBMC harvesting and processing activities.
- Perform analytical testing supporting flow cytometry and PCR analysis.
- Maintain precision and attention to detail while completing repetitive laboratory tasks.
- Follow laboratory procedures and documentation requirements.
- Work efficiently within a regulated clinical research laboratory.
