Labcorp Career- Role:
As a Clinical Laboratory Technologist โ Toxicology, you will:
- Assess the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
- Perform routine and complex technical procedures following departmental SOPs.
- Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure proper functionality.
- Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls.
- Report accurate and timely test results to support patient care.
- Perform preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
- Assist with specimen processing and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work SundayโThursday, 1:00amโ9:30am, eligible for a 15% shift differential for third-shift hours.
Clinical Laboratory Technologist Jobs- Requirements:
- Bachelorโs degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related field meeting CLIA & State requirements.
- Previous clinical laboratory testing experience not required; full training provided.
- ASCP or AMT certification preferred.
- Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
