Position: Scientist, Critical Reagents
Location: Spring House, Pennsylvania, USA
Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly motivated Scientist to join our team at Spring House, PA. As a Scientist, you will play a key role in the discovery of innovative medicines to advance healthcare around the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the purification, conjugation & characterization of antibodies and other biomolecules for assay development.
- Design, complete, and interpret experiments with the manager’s approval.
- Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks, prepare technical reports, and stay up-to-date with scientific literature.
- Collaborate with other scientists in a dynamic research environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or related Life Sciences field with a minimum of 2 years of experience required; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience and Skills:
- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
- Protein conjugation and characterization experience preferred.
- Experience with AKTA systems, HPLC, and Automation is a plus.
