Life Sciences GDP Description

Life Sciences GDP participants will join UCB’s two-year Graduate Development Program designed to accelerate professional development through rotational assignments within Medical Communities.

  • Complete two 12-month rotations across Medical Capabilities Excellence and Medical Digital & Analytics Solutions teams.
  • Contribute to projects involving Medical Affairs, digital innovation, capability development, and analytics.
  • Support capability frameworks, career pathways, digital learning solutions, and global initiatives.
  • Assist country-level digital strategies, tool adoption, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Collaborate with global and local stakeholders across international Medical Affairs teams.
  • Receive structured coaching from managers, mentorship, and buddy support.
  • Participate in networking events, workshops, and Early Talent learning experiences.
  • Develop expertise in project coordination, stakeholder management, strategic thinking, digital tools, analytics, and visualization.

The program prepares graduates for specialized or generalist careers within a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications required for the Life Sciences GDP are:
