Job Title: Associate Scientist, In Vitro Preclinical Pharmacology

Our RNA Therapeutics team in Boston shares a passion for challenging conventional wisdom and creating an environment that embraces creative, breakthrough concepts. The Center offers a start-up environment with large company support. It is located in the heart of Massachusetts’ exploding science and technology cluster and is surrounded by some of the best academic and industry innovators in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
- High-throughput in vitro screening and evaluation of oligonucleotide therapeutics
- Perform downstream biochemical assays to evaluate drug candidates
- Optimize existing characterization methods and processes
- Assist in troubleshooting technical challenges
- Help design and complete experiments and perform data analysis
- Provide conceptual contribution into experimental design and communication of results
- Accurate recording of all practical work
- General laboratory assistance
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in biology, neuroscience, or related field.
Additional Skills/Preferences:
- Understanding of RNA biology and RNA therapeutics
- Ability to adapt and exercise flexibility for changing needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Experience in data analysis and visualization
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and analytical software
