The Associate Scientist role at Lonza involves utilizing molecular biology, mammalian cell culture, protein purification, and protein characterization techniques. The successful candidate will work on various customer projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and maintaining detailed record-keeping practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform vector constructions and purify encoded proteins using platform mammalian expression systems
- Conduct purification techniques for protein purification
- Perform analytical assays for protein characterization
- Prepare high-quality reports and data summaries
- Contribute to maintaining quality and safety standards through lab inspections and operational excellence initiatives
- Effectively communicate with external customers and internal stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, biology, or bioengineering
- 1 year of relevant lab experience preferred
