Position: Manufacturing Specialist
Location: Visp, Valais, Switzerland
Due to the growth at our site in Visp, we are currently looking for Manufacturing Specialists for our Ibex-facility. In this role, you will be responsible for executing operational activities of assigned manufacturing in specific areas (Upstream (USP), Downstream (DSP) or Buffer Media and Production Support (BMS) processing) for a large-scale 6x20kL Scale Drug Substance Mammalian facility.
Key Accountabilities and Duties
- Planning, executing, and documenting manufacturing campaigns in the area of mammalian cell culture
- Leading multi-disciplinary project teams as Functional Lead for manufacturing aspects
- Ensuring regulatory requirements are implemented
- Performing manufacturing activities following cGMP guidelines
- Training operators and supporting manufacturing unit during audits
- Executing innovation and improvement projects
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Bachelor / Master Degree
- Preferred area of study: Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines
- Fluent in German and English
- GMP understanding
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Highly motivated, dynamic, and solution-oriented
