Job Title: Biotechnologist 1/2 & 3 (CGT)
Location: Singapore, Singapore
Job Description:
Today, Lonza is the first biologics contract manufacturer in Singapore and is seeking to expand its manufacturing team in Tuas. As part of the Cell & Gene Technologies (CGT) business unit, the Biotechnologist will be responsible for producing cell therapy products and media in compliance with cGMP regulations. The position requires flexibility to work in a 12-hour rotating shift, including days, nights, and weekends, within a cleanroom environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and adhere to cGMP compliance and clean room practices
- Execute batch records accurately and ensure right-first-time documentation
- Perform environmental monitoring during production
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Contribute to troubleshooting technical problems and process optimization
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Science or relevant field
- Prior experience in biopharmaceutical industry or cleanroom environment preferred
- Strong team-oriented work ethic with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills, both written and oral
