The Position

The Product Development Medical Affairs (PDMA) Nucleus Team plays a crucial role in bridging scientific advances with medical practice needs. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to support global teams, design capability-building initiatives, and contribute to impactful projects within the medical affairs domain. Interns will gain hands-on experience while working closely with experienced professionals, enhancing their skills in the life sciences field. Duration: 12 months, starting from 01.01.2027

Medical Affairs Internship – Key Responsibilities

  • Support MEG team members in analyzing, designing, implementing, and managing capability-building projects and offerings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for participants in a global leadership development program, handling planning, communications, vendor engagement, and applicant screening.
  • Engage in content creation, including Google Sites, slide decks, newsletters, surveys, infographics, and videos.
  • Co-facilitate workshops with Medical Affairs and Disease Area teams to enhance skills and team performance.
  • Plan and organize in-site and virtual learning events, ensuring engaging content and smooth execution.
  • Generate insights and evaluations post-events and share findings with the team and stakeholders.
  • Assist the Nucleus team with ad-hoc projects and tasks across sub-chapters.

Eligibility Required For Medical Affairs Internship

  • Currently enrolled in university (Master studies only) or graduated within the last 12 months, ideally in Life Sciences, or related fields.
  • Open-minded, flexible, and creative with a proactive attitude and a strong learner mindset.
  • Possess project management and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Preferably have work experience in an international business environment, instructional design, or organizational psychology.
  • General understanding and interest in adult learning and development, as well as the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Advanced knowledge of the Google Apps Suite, Microsoft 365, and AI tools.
