Job Description
This medical writer job involves developing and writing high-quality, medically accurate content for assigned accounts. The role requires collaboration with internal teams to ensure that client vision is achieved while maintaining scientific accuracy. The Medical Writer will create a variety of resources such as flashcards, leave-behinds, and internal training materials.
Candidates will support pharmaceutical patient support programs, including patient hubs and financial assistance offerings, tailored for healthcare professionals and patient audiences.
Qualifications
- BS in life sciences
- OR BA/BS in English with 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of medical writing experience in a pharmaceutical agency, medical communications company, or healthcare advertising
Required Skills
- Knowledge of American Medical Association (AMA) style
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with PubMed and Google Scholar
Required Competencies
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High analytical ability
- Ability to manage deadline-sensitive projects

Preferred
- Expertise in gathering and summarizing healthcare and scientific literature

Salary & Benefits
- Salary Range: $62,500 USD – $93,750 USD
