Microbiologist Jobs – Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with assigned training plans pertinent to job functions.
- Perform verification of microbial test results and calculations by peers.
- Communicate any out-of-specification and out-of-trend investigations to the supervisor.
- Coordinate and monitor the availability of laboratory supplies and equipment.

Eligibility Criteria Required For Microbiologist Jobs
Education: Preferably B. Sc. in Microbiology or a similar qualification in a closely related field.
Required Skills
- Working and/or theoretical knowledge of automated laboratory instrumentation preferred, including Bacterial Identification Systems (Biolog, Omnilog, or Vitek), Autoclave, Sterility Test Isolator, and Bacterial Endotoxin Test unit (Endoscan).
- Good knowledge of microbiological techniques, including aseptic technique.
- Proficient computer skills; prior experience with LIMS would be an advantage.
- Able to interpret results and perform work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Job will require repetitive, routine bench-work including activities such as pipetting, serial dilutions, and sub-culturing.
