Microbiology Freshers Job – Description
The Microbiology Associate plays a key role in ensuring product quality and safety through microbiological testing and environmental monitoring. The position involves routine laboratory analyses, cleanroom monitoring, sample and reagent preparation, and accurate documentation in a cGMP-regulated environment. This opportunity is suitable for detail-oriented candidates interested in developing technical expertise in microbiology and pharmaceutical quality operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing in accordance with established procedures and cGMP requirements.
- Prepare samples, media, reagents, standards, and laboratory materials for routine testing.
- Conduct environmental monitoring activities, including water sampling, viable and non-viable air monitoring, and surface sampling.
- Perform Gram staining, microbial isolation, sterility testing, endotoxin testing, and particulate matter testing.
- Analyze and interpret test results, escalating concerns or deviations as needed.
- Accurately document and report laboratory data in compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, inventory, and work areas while adhering to safe laboratory practices.
- Support investigations, troubleshooting activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Educational Requirements For Microbiology Freshers Job
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biological Sciences, or a related scientific field.
- 0–1 years of laboratory experience preferred.
- Cleanroom, aseptic gowning, or environmental monitoring experience preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
