Overview
The Microbiology Lab Technician will be responsible for providing essential laboratory support for various industries within the Life Sciences sector. This role involves conducting microbiological analytical testing, maintaining laboratory standards, and ensuring compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2005 requirements.
Responsibilities
- Maintain good laboratory housekeeping and adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment standards
- Provide microbiological analytical support for medical device manufacturers, private sectors, and commodity exporters
- Record and update test results in LIMS
Skills/Qualifications
- Graduation in microbiology or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in Medical Device and/or Microbiological Testing industry
- Background in Cytotoxicity, Endotoxin, Bioburden testing, Media Prep, Clean Room, and Sterile Techniques
- Knowledge of testing standards such as USP, ISO, ANSI, or ASTM
- Good communication and organizational skills
