About the Role
As a Research Associate at MTIF, you’ll play a key role in an exciting project focused on testing antimicrobial coatings for urinary catheters to help reduce infection rates in healthcare settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate the efficacy of these coatings against laboratory and clinically isolated bacteria in our state-of-the-art microbiology laboratory.
Requirements and Responsibilities
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Degree in Bioscience (preferably Microbiology) or relevant experience
- Experience in antimicrobial testing, material science, or biofilm research
- Execute laboratory protocols and analyze results
- Participate in internal and external meetings
Project Objectives
- Evaluate antimicrobial efficacy against laboratory and clinical pathogens
- Optimize coatings based on efficacy data
- Test coating effectiveness in complex physiological models
