Job Description
The QC Associate Scientist position at MilliporeSigma is responsible for conducting cGMP analytical laboratory analysis within the Quality Control department. Responsibilities include incoming raw material analysis, in-process testing, final product analysis, method validation, and environmental monitoring. The role requires proficiency in various analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, and NMR, among others. The successful candidate will also participate in process improvement initiatives and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Eligibility Criteria for QC Associate Scientist
- Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, or related Life Science discipline.
- 1 year of experience in a GLP or cGMP analytical laboratory environment.
- Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years in a GMP manufacturing or testing laboratory.
- Understanding of 21 CFR Part 11, 210, and 211, and ICH Q7.
- Experience with chemical analyses including HPLC, GC, and NMR.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong documentation practices and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry techniques.
