Job Description: Touchlight Genetics is seeking a skilled and determined Cell & Molecular Biologist to join our Research and Development team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in designing, developing, and testing novel technologies based on our proprietary DNA vector for advanced genetic medicines.

We Believe That DNA Is Fundamental To The Future Of Medicine And Our CDMO Has a Focus On The Following Areas:
- Nucleic acid medicines (mRNA and DNA)
- Ex-vivo and in-vivo cell and genetic medicines
- Gene therapy using viral vectors and gene editing
- Autologous and allogeneic cell therapy
Key Responsibilities
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to drive forward Touchlight’s new DNA technologies
- Maintain and develop R&D cell assays/platforms to advance Touchlight’s DNA technologies
- Optimize genetic platforms through molecular and cell culture improvements
- Characterize biological responses to our proprietary DNA molecules
- Accurately record and communicate experimental findings
You Have
Requirements:
- PhD qualification or equivalent industry experience in Life Sciences
- Strong analytical mindset and collaborative nature
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in culturing challenging mammalian cell types
- Proficiency in molecular biology techniques
Strongly Desired Skills
- Proven ability in solving molecular biology problems
- Knowledge of DNA assembly techniques
- Experience with genome engineering approaches such as CRISPR
