Molecular Biology Intern Job Description

baCta seeks a Molecular Biology Intern to design, build and test engineered microbial strains producing industrial pigments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cloning, plasmid assembly, transformation, genome editing, strain construction and genotyping
  • Mini-scale culture assays
  • Data analysis (Benchling, Python)

Eligibility Criteria

Master 2 / engineering final year in biotechnology, synthetic biology or microbial engineering.

Required Skills

  • Strong molecular biology and microbial genetics
  • Fluent English
