Job Description
Job Title: Molecular Biology Study Director/Scientist
Job Type: Temporary – maternity cover
Hours: 35hrs per week, 9am-5pm
Job Location: Glasgow
Salary: From £28,000
SGS Glasgow is the Global Centre for Excellence for Biosafety testing. We are experts in the testing of cell banks and the routine bulk harvest for vaccines, gene and cell therapies, monoclonal antibodies and other recombinant protein-based biological medicines.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage regulatory studies, meeting client timelines.
- Perform Molecular test methods to a high technical standard and in compliance.
- Analyze, interpret, and report complex molecular data sets, delivering a high standard of data while meeting the regulatory requirements of GLP and GMP tests.
- Conduct investigations and out-of-specifications, ensuring that appropriate corrective and preventative actions are identified and completed on time.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have proven experience in a Molecular Study Director/Scientist role in a regulatory environment. Applicants should hold a degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field and must be proficient in various molecular biology techniques.
