Molecular Biologist Intern (Summer 2025)

About the Role
As a Molecular Biologist Intern at Battelle, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on applied research projects. This internship offers hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, allowing you to apply your molecular biology skills to make significant contributions to ongoing programs.
Responsibilities
- Utilize molecular biology techniques to modify biological systems with guidance from senior scientists.
- Assist in designing, executing, and analyzing experiments.
- Troubleshoot and enhance testing processes.
- Conduct literature searches relevant to projects.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and security requirements.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data for presentations.
Key Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in molecular biology or related field.
- Experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, gel electrophoresis, etc.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- U.S. citizenship and willingness to adhere to client NDA.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer break.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, bacterial enumeration, etc.
