Qualifications
MSL job applicants should possess strong scientific knowledge and relevant pharmaceutical industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, or another medicine-related discipline.
- An advanced degree such as MD, PhD, or MSc will be considered an advantage.
- Minimum of three years of pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Medical Affairs.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and confidently.
- Strategic thinking ability with an understanding of scientific, business, regulatory, and market access objectives.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Professional-level English proficiency and fluency in Thai.
MSL Job – Key Responsibilities
MSL job duties include scientific engagement, medical education, and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
- Responsible for engagement of external experts and scientific and clinical exchange between BI and healthcare professionals to build understanding and the clinical value of BI products aligned with scientific objectives in Integrated Customer Planning (ICP).
- Responsible for documenting scientific interactions between BI and healthcare professionals and sharing relevant information with the brand team.
- Execute medical projects and Boehringer-initiated activities including medical education, round-table discussions, advisory boards, publications, and congress activities.
- Provide and deliver important information to healthcare professionals regarding the appropriate use of BI products.
- Execute advocacy development plans and support Medical Affairs activities based on Integrated Customer Planning in collaboration with the brand team.
- Initiate interactions with external experts and healthcare professionals to gain insights and gather feedback for internal decision-making, including perception tracking and treatment landscape evaluation.
- Provide formal medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals in response to unsolicited requests using appropriate scientific information.
