Job Description
Overview: Work with all departments to assure highest quality clinical test results with unparalleled accuracy for all patient samples in a timely manner including the identification and resolution of issues.
Responsibilities
- Development and support of advanced molecular tests for clinical applications that include molecular oncology and women’s health.
- Experimental design, execution, data collection and data analysis of molecular assays that utilize next generation sequencing (NGS) and other methodologies for analyzing DNA and RNA.
- Process improvement and technology development for existing and new molecular tests offered by Myriad Genetics.
- Ensure good documentation practices for assay development, validation, quality assurance, technical investigations, and operational support of molecular diagnostic tests in a highly regulated clinical laboratory environment.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science.
- Master’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science with 2+ years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
