Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
โขMaintain quality assurance programs and operate state of the art instrumentation.
โขWill operate and calibrate test equipment (pH, turbidity, conductivity meters, autoclaves, microscopes, etc.).
โขWill conduct chromatographic and spectroscopic analyses for bromate and others as required.
โขPerform necessary wet chemistry procedures and train other technicians on their operation.
โขManagement of Internal Control Plans specific to chemical instrumentation and procedures.
โขParticipate in Microbiology Proficiency Testing Programs.
โขEnsure that all microbiological lab procedures adhere to Nestle LIโs procedures, FDA compliance and other regulatory requirements.
โขExecute microbiology and chemistry tests on raw materials, water sources, in-process samples, environmental samples, and finished products in accordance with Nestle requirements
โขRecord microbiology and chemistry results, interpret data, and formulate action plans to establish corrective and preventive measures
โขOperate, maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments as required by the ICP / calibration program
โขCommunicate microbiology and chemistry results effectively to all levels of the organization
โขFlexibility and the desire to work in a fast-paced factory environment are critical for success.
โขThe Poland Spring laboratory operates 7 days per week.
โขThe work schedule is day shift schedule that includes weekend coverage (Sunday โ Wednesday 0700 โ 1700).
โขVacation coverage is required
