The Center for Drug Discovery (CDD) at Northeastern University invites applications for two postdoctoral research positions in the area of medications development for substance use disorder. The positions are available immediately and both are expected to be filled by early 2023.
Job Title: Postdoctoral Research Fellow
Location: Boston, MA (Main Campus)
Postdoctoral researchers may align with a single or multiple CDD training faculty members among the three participating institutions (Northeastern, McLean, Tufts).

Responsibilities:
The potential hires are expected to participate in and help develop vigorous research programs, with the common objective of medications development for substance use disorder. Postdoctoral researchers are expected to help mentor graduate students and junior postdocs. Qualified candidates must have excellence in, or a demonstrated commitment to, working in a culturally diverse work and educational environment.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have recently obtained a recent PhD, MD, or equivalent with a relevant background, e.g., Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Neuroscience, Pharmacology, and related fields. Candidates with a successful publication and/or funding history will be given priority.
