Novartis Biomedical Research is seeking a Research Scientist to join the Oncology Department. As part of the Target Biology and Discovery (TBaD) group in Cambridge, MA, you will play a vital role in advancing our understanding of disease biology and contributing to the discovery of new drugs in the oncology and immuno-oncology fields.

Internal Title: Research Scientist
Location: Cambridge, MA
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct target identification, validation, and mechanism-of-action projects using various molecular and cellular techniques.
- Design, develop, and perform assays for drug discovery.
- Analyze, document, and interpret experimental data.
- Collaborate effectively in a matrixed environment.
- Present research results in group and project meetings.
Role Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Biology or a related field.
- Minimum 2+ years of post-Bachelor Degree experience in cancer biology.
- Proficiency in cell culture and cell line engineering.
- Strong skills in generating, analyzing, and presenting scientific data.
Desirable: Previous industry experience is a plus.
Novartis Compensation and Benefit Summary:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $84,000 – $126,000 per year.
