Consumer safety and global compliance are of the utmost importance to Procter & Gamble, and we need the best healthcare professionals to act as stewards in these critical areas and to work to continuously improve our products.

Nearly five billion times a day, P&G brands touch the lives of people around the world. They reach those who shave with a Gillette Fusion ProGlide or Venus razor, who wash their hair with Pantene or Head & Shoulders, and who wash their clothes with Tide. As the world’s largest consumer goods company, P&G has one of the strongest portfolios of trusted, leading quality brands. The P&G community consists of around 118,000 employees working in around 70 countries across the globe. P&G recruits the finest people in the world and develops talent almost exclusively from within. This means graduates won’t just get their first job out of college, they are hired with the expectation that they will grow into one of P&G’s future leaders. New starters with P&G can expect a job with responsibility from day one and a career with a variety of challenging roles that develop and broaden their skills, together with the support of training and coaching to help them succeed.

We have a position for a summer intern within our Global Safety Surveillance & Analysis organization based at our Mason Business Center, north of Cincinnati, Ohio. Your internship responsibilities will include conducting analysis projects involving the evaluation of adverse event data for P&G products sold worldwide in order to analyze health related consumer complaints for continual product improvement. You may also evaluate external data sources such as the Rapid Exchange of Information System (RAPEX) to augment these analyses. Additional databases such as national health surveys (Japan, China, etc.) and NIH’s All of Us data may also be investigated to determine their value for P&G data analyses. You will obtain an understanding of relevant regulations applicable to the products and collection of the data. You will work in close collaboration with professionals including Epidemiologists, Data Scientists, and Product Vigilance Managers.
