As part of the fast-paced and driven PFNA R&D Operational Excellence team, you will be responsible for supporting a PFNA-focused agenda including Frito Lay US, Quaker US, Frito Lay Canada, and Quaker Canada. This team leads the day-to-day development and governance processes as well as influences design and implementation of new R&D processes across Quaker & Frito Lay for both the US and Canada

Elibgility Criteria:
BS, MS or Ph.D. Degree in Food Science or Engineering
Work Experience: 6+ years of Product Development Experience

- Strong project management skills to effectively drive a complex project portfolio across different markets with a demonstrated capability to effectively manage complex projects or multiple projects simultaneously

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize and analyze complex data to make clear technical recommendations
- Ability to embrace change and demonstrate flexibility in an ever-changing and often ambiguous environment

This position will require a strong understanding of R&D and business processes. Strong project management skills, cross-functional relationships, ability to motivate & influence and a team mentality will be required to move projects forward. This position will support additional Operational Excellence projects as the agenda evolves requiring strong technical excellence to quickly learn new processes, contribute, and deliver results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work effectively & in collaboration with cross-functional (Commercialization, Marketing, Supply Chain), Sector Managers, and R&D discipline partners to drive synergies where possible in support of PFNA initiatives.
- Review and maintain project data sets that highlight project timelines and project delays.
- Apply critical thinking to identifying simplifications in PD processes across PFNA to reduce duplication and drive speed to market
- Apply Technical & Business Governance processes effectively from the feasibility stage through to scale-up & post-launch support
- Develop solutions & applications of process to manage overall complexity
