Job Title: Project Coordinator
Location: Engineering/Technical Operations Covington, Ohio
Eligibility Criteria:
- 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in dairy, whey, or infant formula setting (i.e. directly related to spray drying production) is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with quality systems in a FDA current GMP regulated environment.
- Project management experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s degree is required. Concentration in engineering, food science, or related field preferred
Description/Requirements:
- Work with project managers to coordinate work being completed in different departments of the plant as efficiently as possible.
- Ensure risk assessments are completed for all project work in the plant and safety and quality risks are mitigated.
- Work with quality to determine if change controls are required for a project. If change controls are needed ensure they are completed as necessary prior to starting the project.
- Ensure the fulfillment of Perrigo Quality requirements for compliance with cGMP regulations including equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and change control activities.
Conduct/coordinate contractor training and/or escort contractors where required. - Ensure contractors have met all requirements prior to beginning work in the plant (Completed annual contractor training, meet COVID requirements, badges activated, etc.).
- Assist with the design and execution of infrastructure type capital projects in the plant.
Work with Corporate Engineering to support large capital projects in the plant and assist with the development and implementation of those projects. - Provide backup for safety risk mitigation on projects especially for larger shutdown activities (Crane work, digging, etc.).
