About the Team:
The In Vitro Operations Team at Labcorp Preclinical Oncology holds a vast amount of experience in cell culture, cell-based in vitro assays, molecular and biochemical in vitro assays, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and CAR T cell manufacturing. The Team works closely with the In Vivo Operations Team to coordinate client study execution and the Scientific Development Team to coordinate sales and marketing strategies. One of the main focuses of the In Vitro Operations Team is to continually develop and use new technologies and techniques to help our clients efficiently advance through the preclinical stages of their research.

Post-Doc Project Summary:
- Advance the Labcorp Preclinical Oncology analytical services for CAR T cell therapy evaluation.
- Develop preclinical and translation assay platforms for CAR T cell therapy development. Assess the feasibility of new assays, applications and methods.
- Design in vitro and ex vivo CAR T immunology experiments from conception to data analysis and presentation of results.
- Attend in vitro department meetings and collaborates with colleagues conducting commercial preclinical oncology studies on behalf of clients.
- Develop training materials and conduct training of other scientists.
- Attend relevant professional conferences and seminars.
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Ph.D. in Immunology, CAR T cell therapy, or related scientific area
- Expertise in vivo and in vitro models for CAR T cell development and functional characterization.
- Strong understanding of the current landscape of the CAR T cell therapy space.
- Familiarity with gold standard analytic approaches. Familiarity with the current challenges that limit the efficacy of CAR T therapies in the clinic.
- Technically adept in laboratory skills including but not limited to Immunology cell-based assays, flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, transcriptomics, proteomics, molecular biology.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, supported by publications in peer-reviewed journals.
- Experience with single cell analysis/live cell imaging and computational/bioinformatic analysis is a plus.
