QA job Description

Discovery Life Sciences is seeking a talented and passionate Quality Assurance Associate to assist in the development and maintenance of the company’s Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and ISO 9001 standards.
The Quality Assurance Associate will work closely with laboratory and operational teams to address quality concerns, support audits, monitor compliance activities, and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
QA job applicants should meet the following requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a Life Sciences field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience & Skills
- Experience in Quality Assurance, GMP, ISO 9001, biologics, laboratory, or preclinical environments.
- Familiarity with audits, CAPA processes, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.
QA job – Key Responsibilities
QA job responsibilities include supporting quality initiatives and maintaining compliance across the organization.
- Support quality initiatives and maintain the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS).
- Address daily quality issues and represent Quality in cross-functional meetings.
- Assist with ISO, GLP, client, and surveillance audit activities.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and CAPAs.
- Develop and maintain procedures, controlled documents, and training materials.
- Monitor quality trends, supplier issues, customer complaints, and key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with stakeholders on root cause investigations and process improvements.
- Support employee training and ensure compliance with quality standards and confidentiality requirements.
