Job Description:
The QC Scientist II at Jubilant HollisterStier LLC is responsible for performing analysis on allergenic and client components, raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Key responsibilities include:
- Analyze various materials and products following established procedures
- Record and review data in compliance with regulatory standards
- Conduct studies to address product or procedural issues
- Assist in troubleshooting and investigations
- Prepare reports and contribute to document revisions
- Maintain training compliance and uphold plant safety programs
- Demonstrate proficiency in core analytical assays
- Participate in internal and external client interactions
- Perform special assignments as directed
Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related hard science + 1 year of lab experience – OR – Associates Degree in hard science + 3 years of lab experience
- Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
- Strong scientific literacy and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle laboratory equipment
- Physical capabilities, including manual dexterity and ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
Compensation:
The Scientist II position offers a starting salary of $29.05 – $39.30 per hour, with opportunities for advancement, promotion, and annual raises.
