Key Responsibilities
- Assist in research projects under the direction of the Principal Investigator or senior research staff and contribute significantly towards project goals.
- Lead sub-projects and coordinate collaboration works.
- Participate in writing scientific publications and grants. Review and stay current with relevant literature.
- Collaborate with team members, supervise junior staff, and assist in general laboratory operations.
- Train new laboratory personnel, students, and short-term visiting scientists.
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety standards and guidelines.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in biological science, biomedical engineering, or related disciplines.
- Research experience in biomaterial fabrication, cell culture, labeling and imaging, and related biochemical assays.
- Experience in WB, ELISA, liposome assay, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence, confocal microscopy, and Python or MATLAB-based image analysis is preferred.
- Highly motivated with excellent laboratory, planning, and leadership skills.
- Ability to integrate into a diverse research team and willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques.
